Tortoise Diet
Proper
nutrition is an essential part of health maintenance. Mazuri exotic animal
diets have been used by zoological institutions for decades to maintain the
health and quality of life of their animal collections. The Mazuri Herbivorous Tortoise Diet has been designed
for the feeding of plant-eating tortoises-- including species such as Desert
Tortoises, Red-footed Tortoises, Yellow-footed Tortoises, Spur-thighed
Tortoises, Gopher Tortoises, Aldabara Tortoises, Galapagos Tortoises, and
others.
The pellets may be fed dry, or they may be soaked in water until they expand to about twice their dry size. We do recommend using the diet as a supplement to other appropriate dietary items.
